Taj Mahal

Kathar's opinion of the Taj Mahal: "As usual, the pictures do no justice to the actual place. Beautiful and surreal. The high council has been contacted and earth may yet earn another reprieve. 5 raised tentacles."

It's worth mentioning again the beauty of the saris. While we hardly had the place to ourselves (many heads would often enter my camera's field of view just as I clicked), the ladies and their wonderful attire put our visit to the Taj over the top.

Oh, and did we mention that it was a very hot day? All that white marble reflects the heat quite well. Actually, the Indians say this has been one of the hottest fall seasons on record. Evidence of global warming? Well, not scientifically speaking, but many locals feel sure.
